The yoni: sacred source, mother of creation. This ongoing body of work draws connections between the yoni, the Earth, and the sacred power of creation. Through clay, paint, and found natural materials, I explore the yoni as origin, portal, and memory. We come from Mother Earth, and we return to her. We are born through the womb. the yoni, of our biological mothers. In these finger-painted pieces, I delve into the root of our creation, offering it the sacredness we have forgotten. Alongside the yoni, I honour the five elements — intrinsic to our nature and to the great mother of creation herself. Each piece tells a story, and the story of the series continues to unfold as I continue to create.
